What is the purpose of that league really?
I mean, i dont text battle and stuff . . . but it almost seems like a league for people who wants a Champ Medal next to their name while having to use as little energy or effort as possible.
Where is the skill in just dropping 2 little lines? Its kind of odd to me that its a thing lol

It's a "less is more" type thing. If you can deliver a solid punch in 2 lines, it's cool to read
And I like it as an elevation tool for those that need the elevation. And it's a good space filler while LLL isn't going on

It should be easy to have a really good 2 line punch. It's not always easy, but even so it's an even playing field. Some people have a couple good lines in a 20 line battle, but aren't very consistent. This gives everyone one punch to be better than the other person. If anything it requires more skill. It's your absolute best, vs their absolute best. You can't rely on longevity, long buildups, cadences, anything else that's present in other writing styles.

Sometimes less is more.
Not that 60 lines is "easier" by any means. But you have a lot more space to make-up for weaker portions. You can "fall off" a bit and regain the reader's attention and win them over.
There's no room for that in 2 lines. It has to be original, catchy, entertaining, and pack a lot of different elements in in 1/30th of the space.
It's a quick draw of wit where you need a clever line. Though in past instances I was "beaten" by some outright pathetically generic lines, but the intention is to see who can deliver one solid two-liner better.
SS is a more story based league thought it's nature was greatly defiled by the need for a rhyme scheme over the actual story.
Before, I was merely The Ultimate Hero and the only true champion. Now, some group of kiddos named AI has accepted me as their idol to be worshiped and revered. But I can still be your hero too.
Some people's obsession with the "mechanics" always kind of took me by surprise. I prefer the story.

yea, i guess i can see it now.
so the 1-2 league is kind of like. . wham, bam, thank you maam. . where LLL is like the dinner and a movie type thing lol . .
SS should be about everything. . flow, scheme, wording, story and/or concept etc. . . i have never awarded anyone a win for just excelling in one category.
hopefully nobody ever looks at my verses and just sees flow over content

You're pretty good about having that balance tho, I stopped trying to use ridiculous multis cause it just didn't work for me. Some can do it, just not me lol
