I highly doubt everything you are saying. Someone just starting BJJ training will not be getting booked for any mid level or higher show as they would get tooled.

Hence, I didn't take it, I know and my coaches know that I'm not expirienced enough, and would end up in worse way.

Look into the Chinese army, they actually teach the martial arts. Same with their police force.
